I spoke a person who has worked within food manufacturing for over ten years. She wants to stay anonymous.
"I have worked within food manufacturing for about ten years now, this has been within the quality departments. We must question, why fast food chains put out so mush press about lowering this and lower that, now when we don't know the figures it doesn't mean anything, product now with 25% less salt, but it had 150% added salt in the first place. I have worked for companies which supplied food for McDonald's, KFC, Chicken cottage and high street supermarkets. I have never eaten fast food since working with food manufacturing, just think so much care is taken to control our food manufacture, what about the people who work within these areas. How many men do you know that wash their hands? Most of the worker employed within the low grade manufacturing positions are from Poland!"
